I am a special education teacher in my twenty

I am a special education teacher in my twenty-third year of teaching. Before teaching special education I also taught English and physical education. Currently, I am working on a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Eastern Michigan University. I also earned a Masters Degree in Special Education from Texas State University (1993) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Eastern Michigan University (1982).

During my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, running for fitness, hiking, reading fiction and health books, writing music and playing my guitar. I am a fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Michigan State University football and basketball teams. Go Spartans!
