Mrs. Tanke has been teaching at Lapeer Community High School for nine years. Over the years she has taught English and science, but currently teaches five sections of mathematics. She is also the Core Curriculum Department Head for the Woodside Building. Mrs. Tanke uses differentiated instruction in all of her Algebra Concepts courses, keeping the individual learner in mind with each lesson. Her instructional goal has always been to " take the mystery out of Algebra" for all of her students. Her courses focus mainly on concept-building and problem solving.
