Matt Wandrie, Superintendent of Schools

Matt Wandrie came to Lapeer in the summer of 2011 from the Dearborn Public Schools, where he served as the director of human resources. His career in education also includes work as a high school teacher, athletic coach, assistant principal, athletic director and principal.

Kim Seifferly, Assistant Superintendent (Human Resources)

Kim was appointed to her current position in the summer of 2012. She was the District’s Curriculum Director for five years prior to taking this position. She lives in Metamora with her husband JK and two children, Jackson and Addison.

Michelle Bradford, Assistant Superintendent (Curriculum & Instruction)

Michelle has been a part of the LCS community for many years. Before being appointed Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, she served as head principal at Elva Lynch Elementary. She Lives in Lapeer with husband Scott and has three children, Josh, Kade and Beau.

Jennifer Tindall, Executive Director of Special Education

Jennifer was appointed to her current position in the fall of 2013 after serving 13 years in the Port Huron School District.  While with Port Huron she taught elementary special education, then she took on the role of Special Education Supervisor for Elementary Education and eventually took on the secondary special education duties.  Her last three years in the district she was the Director of Exceptional Children, Pupil Accounting, Early Childhood and Student Records.

Jennifer lives in Metamora with her husband David.

Brian Badder, Director of Operations

Brian came to Lapeer in August 2022 as the Director of Operations for Lapeer Community Schools. 

He currently lives in the Lapeer District with his wife Alyssa and son Lincoln, a student in Lapeer Community Schools.

Relevant Experience

He started working for Imlay City Schools as an AV student/sub custodian in 1999 and was hired full-time as a custodian in 2002. In 2005, he transferred classifications and became a maintenance worker and obtained his CDL to be a substitute bus driver as well. In mid-2016, Brian became the Interim Director of Operations for Imlay City Schools where he was responsible for transportation at Imlay City Schools and Dryden Schools as well as buildings and grounds for Imlay City. He became the Director of Transportation and Custodial Services at Imlay City Schools in December 2016.

Interests
Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his family and friends, listening to music, and watching movies.

Matt Mackinder "Big Mack," Director of Communications

Matt came to Lapeer in February 2024 after spending the past 26 years working in print journalism and marketing/public relations. He grew up in Ferndale and currently lives in Goodrich with his wife, Stephanie, three teenaged children, Ethan, Wyatt, and Madelyn, three cats, and three dogs.

Erica Ingles, Director of Finance

Erica came back home to Lapeer in the summer of 2022 from Guardian Industries in Auburn Hills, where she was senior accountant for a glass manufacturer.  Prior to that she worked at Mattina, Kent & Gibbons in Lapeer for four years.  Erica is a 2009 graduate of Lapeer West High School. 

Erica lives in Lapeer with her husband Ken.
