LCS STEM Programs

As a school district, we recognize that traditional four-year college is not for everyone. Many students choose different pathways after high school, including trade school or community college, while others go straight into the workforce. We recognize that a once-size-fits-all approach to education is not up to the needs of the 21st century. The labor market is far too competitive and diverse.

Our students deserve better.

In Lapeer, we treat students as unique individuals, with different goals, academic needs and interests. Students who participate in the CTE and Work-Based Program will have the opportunity to graduate with industry recognized credentials and enter the workforce prepared to advance in their chosen field. Students who wish to continue on the traditional college track will have an advantage over many of their peers. It’s a win-win.
